Guided Aurora Skiing Adventure in Rovaniemi

Step into the quiet beauty of Lapland on a guided forest skiing tour just outside Rovaniemi. Using skin skis—lightweight and easy to use—you’ll glide through snow-covered forests, following peaceful trails far out of the city and into the stillness of the Arctic night.

Skiing has long been a lifeline in Lapland. For generations, it allowed people to move through deep snow, reach remote places, and stay connected with nature during the long winter months. This tour honors that tradition, offering a modern way to experience the timeless rhythm of skis on snow.

As you move through the forest, the only sounds are the whisper of your skis and the soft crunch of snow. Your guide shares stories about the northern lights and the role skiing has played in Lapland’s way of life. On clear nights, you may see the aurora borealis shimmer above the treetops—Rovaniemi enjoys frequent displays throughout the winter.

Warm drinks, small group atmosphere, and the magic of Arctic silence make this an unforgettable experience. Whether the sky is glowing or not, the journey itself is pure Lapland.
