Who We Are

– A Day In Lapland

We’re a small team of locals who live and breathe the seasons of Lapland. This isn’t just where we work — it’s where we grew up, where we spend our free time, and where every snowfall still feels a little magical.

Lapland is our playground, our peace, our home. On days off, you’ll find us skiing through quiet forests, cooking outdoors, or simply soaking in the stillness. These are the same places we take you — not just for an activity, but for a real experience.

We invite you into more than scenery. It’s about how this place makes you feel.

We’ll share what life is like here, how nature shapes our days, and why this wild land means so much to us. When you step into the snow with us, you’re stepping into our everyday — and we can’t wait to welcome you.

Our team

Samu Vedenjuoksu

Operations manager, guide

"I’ve loved winter and skiing since I was a kid." As a ski instructor and adventure guide, I get to share that passion every day — whether on the slopes or in the deep snow of Lapland. What skiing taught me growing up — focus, patience, and resilience — I now pass on through guiding others across the Arctic.

Joe Paduano

Lead guide elf, international relations

"Winter is where I feel at home."  Whether I’m skiing or hiking in the snow, being outdoors here just feels right. And sharing that with people from different cultures and languages — that’s what makes it all even more special.

Mika Nevalainen

CEO, sales, guide

Winter has always been my favorite season — ever since I was a kid. These days, I spend as much time as I can out in it, from off-piste skiing to simply enjoying everything the Arctic season has to offer.

Security and Safety

We operate in Arctic conditions, where winter weather can be extreme. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, our team follows a regularly updated safety plan and participates in ongoing safety training. All our guides carry first aid kits in every vehicle and backpack. Each adventure is carefully planned, and all participants are expected to follow the safety guidelines provided by our team.

Responsibility in Everything We Do

As a local company operating in the fragile Arctic environment, we take our responsibility seriously — to the nature, to the climate, and to our community.

We follow the principles of sustainable tourism promoted by organizations like Visit Finland’s Sustainable Travel Finland program and the Lapland Responsible Tourism Network. These principles guide us in minimizing our environmental impact, respecting local culture, and ensuring that our adventures are safe, ethical, and meaningful.

We plan our activities with care, stay on official routes, and aim to leave no trace. We also support circular economy practices and continuously look for ways to reduce emissions — because we believe that the magic of Lapland should be protected for generations to come.
