Husky Safari in Wilderness – Visit & 6–10 km Self-Drive Adventure

4 hours

Easy

Drive your own husky team through Lapland’s silent forests. Meet the dogs, take photos, and warm up by the fire in a cozy kota—an unforgettable wilderness experience.

Your journey begins at the pick-up point, where you will meet your guide and join the transfer into the snowy wilderness. After arrival at the husky farm, warm winter clothing will be provided to keep you comfortable throughout the adventure.

Your local guide leads you to the eager huskies, gives clear driving instructions, and introduces you to your own team. Once ready, you’ll set off on a 6–10 km husky safari through pure white landscapes. Two guests share each sled—one drives, one rides—and you can switch halfway. During the short stop there is also time for photos before continuing the ride. The safari lasts around 30–50 minutes, depending on snow conditions and the dogs’ pace.

After the adventure, you’ll have time to meet the huskies more closely—they love attention, cuddles, and photos. Finally, step inside a warm kota by the fire, enjoy hot drinks, and share stories with your guide while the dogs rest outside.

This is an authentic small-group experience led by local guides, where the bond between people, dogs, and wilderness creates unforgettable memories.
